ASSAULTED - New Gun Rights Documentary

"ASSAULTED" is a new documentary produced by the accomplished film maker and Emmy Award winner Kris Koening.
Koenig, who is known for his documentary "400 Years Of The Telescope" (2009) just released the trailer for his upcoming project "Assaulted".

In Koenig's words, "Assaulted" is...
"...taking a critical look at the original intent of the current California guns laws in contrast with crime and murder statistics before and since their implementation; and compares these laws to those of the adjacent states. Story threads also look at the myriad of concealed carry permitting processes across the state to illustrate that not all residents are treated equal.
----------------

The threads below will be woven with current events in California and Nationally that are creating demands for new assault weapons legislation and ammunition sales restrictions. Are these law in the best interest of public safety or infringement of our civil rights?

We will seek out interviews with leading constitutional historians, anti-violence leaders, gun rights activists, law makers and gun owners to create a film that will start a meaningful conversation, not add to rhetoric.

In other words, this documentary will be a pro- 2nd Amendment documentary that will be aired on PBS (gasp!)

Trailer is below:

This project is listed on Kickstarter.com, a website where ordinary people can contribute any amount, from $10 to $10,000 to the financing of independent movies. "Assaulted"s financing goal is $76,000 with 29 days to go.
The film has the official support and endorsment of California's largest gun rights discussion forum Calguns.net and that of the Calguns Foundation - the most active gun rights organization on the left coast.

You too can make a contribution to "Assaulted" so this movie can get of the ground and into production. Do not think that if you don't live in California you don't have any skin in the game...first, the movie will have a nation wide distribution on the PBS network (yeah, you read that right: PBS) and any flick that can present a pro-gun position, OUR position - counts. A lot.
Second, you know what they say: as California goes, the rest of the country goes. The front line in battlefield for gun rights in not Montana or Arizona or Oregon. It is California. If we win here, we will deal a decisive blow to all gun grabbing liberals in Washington, starting with Obama and ending with Feinstein and Schumer.

So please take a moment, click on the link below and open your wallet. In this age of gun hating liberal media, we need this movie done: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/assaulted/assaulted

Thank you in advance for your contribution!
